Giving Update 2026: A Growing Impact!

Hello Freyja Goods Community!

Thanks to your generosity and support, we have now been able to give back in many ways from supporting artisans in Ethiopia, India, and Colombia, to giving microloans to women entrepreneurs around the world.

As we start off 2026, here is a look back at what you've made possible!

LOANS FOR WOMEN - 200+

All of our microloans are made possible through donations from Freyja Goods HQ of a portion of our profits. We power these loans through kiva.org. You can see our giving page here for more details or to make your own loans.

TREES PLANTED FOR BIODIVERSITY - 55 and counting!

All of our trees are planted through donations from Freyja Goods HQ or from our customer donations at checkout. Trees are planted through One Tree Planted. Click here to see their impact page or to make your own donations! 

ARTISAN-MADE PRODUCTS 

We continue to source products that do good in the world, so that you can feel good about the goods you buy! Here are just a few highlights of the impact partners who make the products we sell:

India: Shakti.ism

This social good enterprise upcycles sari's and material to make totebags, pillow covers and more. They have provided training and sewing machines to women in India alongside their  empowerment programs.

Ethiopia: The Addis Ababa Group

This group trains artisans and provides linkages to fair-trade wholesalers to prserve heritage weaving techniques and provide sustainable employment. Many of the weavers have migrated to the city from other regions looking for ways to support their families.

Colombia: Morca-Boyacá Project

This government-founded project aims to discourage child labor in the coal mines, focusing instead on staying in school and receiving artisan training in carving and jewelry making.
